In January, we had an art workshop with a guest artist, who was a print-maker. She showed us some techniques in monotype and dry-point printing, and we had some fun with it. So, I’ve been experimenting and making some prints. I really like dry-point, it’s not that different from drawing, and I’ve had fun with printing different colors and inks and stuff…though ink doesn’t particularly like me. We’ve had a few battles, and I’ve ruined a few shirts, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. I’ll post some of my finished prints later, right now my hand’s dead from trying to carve a lino print…
